This paper is titled “Handmade Textile Revival” for the class of “Methods in Design, Research and Practice” in third year of Industrial Design Bachelor (Hon) at RMIT.
This paper is about the history and value of textile and handmade crafted goods socially, and follows through the history of handmade textile to its standing in the market today. It also includes the interview I conducted with a local fashion designer on her processes, and mock proposals.
