PYRUS: Design as Narrative

This project is titled “PYRUS” for the class of “Upper Pool: Design as Narrative” in third year of Industrial Design Bachelor (Hon) at RMIT.

This product is a USB that is worn as a necklace, keeping your files close, safe and turning them into a fashion element. Context was that in respect of re-inventing an existing brand. I have made attempts to contact the brand for permission and advice throughout the course, however I’ve not gotten much out of it.

I’d like to openly thank Curtis for the information they provide on their design process, aiding in my research and concept development.

The folio is currently too large to upload for display, but I am working on creating a way to fix this in order to provide some work-in-progress images. Please enjoy the snapshots I’ve provided in the meantime.
